Terms of Service

DMV Office Eats (“d.o.e.”, “we”, “us”) provides online ordering and scheduled office delivery for participating workplaces in Northern Virginia. The menu features participating restaurant brands. A brand may be operated by us, or it may be operated independently. Food is prepared for consolidated drop-offs to approved offices, not as on-demand delivery to individual addresses.

By using dmvofficeeats.com, placing an order, or paying through checkout, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Ordering is available only for offices we have approved for service. Searching an address or company name does not guarantee delivery. If your office is not listed, you may submit a service request; approval is discretionary and not automatic.

Each order is tied to a specific office and delivery window. You must complete payment before the posted order cutoff for that window. After cutoff, we may refuse changes or cancellations. Delivery times are estimates; traffic, kitchen volume, and building access can affect arrival.

The delivery window and pickup location are shown before you pay. Building drop-off notes stay with our delivery team. You are responsible for collecting your order from the designated pickup location. Delivery times are estimates and may vary because of traffic or unexpected delays.

Menu items, prices, sauces, and toppings are shown at checkout and charged in U.S. dollars. Prices may change; the amount confirmed at payment controls. Special requests and allergy notes are optional. We and the restaurant preparing the order will try to accommodate them when we can, and we cannot guarantee that every request will be fulfilled.

Payment is processed by Stripe. An order is not confirmed as paid until we receive Stripe’s payment confirmation. The checkout success page alone is not proof of payment. You authorize Stripe to charge the payment method you provide for the total shown at checkout, including 10% tax on the food total. A driver tip is optional and is not taxed. We do not add a delivery fee or a service fee.

You can cancel an order for a full refund until the order cutoff shown before you pay. The usual cutoff is 10:30 AM Eastern on the scheduled delivery date. After that cutoff the order is locked for preparation and can no longer be canceled in the app. Other refund and remake requests are handled case by case. Contact us at support@dmvofficeeats.com as soon as possible with your order ID and a short description of the issue (missing item, wrong item, quality concern, etc.). Chargebacks without contacting us first may delay resolution.

Menus do not list allergens. If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, email support@dmvofficeeats.com with the exact ingredients you need to avoid before you order, and add the same note at checkout. We will confirm what can be prepared when we can. If you do not tell us, the meal is prepared as it is listed on the menu.

We operate the ordering and office-delivery platform. The restaurant brand on an order prepares that food. When we operate the brand, we are responsible for preparing it. When a restaurant is independently operated, that restaurant prepares its food and we coordinate the order and the office delivery. To the fullest extent allowed by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

You agree not to misuse the site (fraudulent orders, harassment, attempts to disrupt systems, or ordering for non-participating locations). We may cancel orders or restrict access if we suspect abuse or unpaid risk.

Order and delivery texts are optional and are not required to buy lunch. If you check the consent box at checkout and give a mobile number, you agree to receive automated texts from DMV Office Eats about that order and its office delivery. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. You can also email support@dmvofficeeats.com. Consent is stored with the time, the checkout page as the source, and the disclosure version shown at checkout. Opting out does not cancel an order or stop email. We do not send these texts unless you have opted in, and we do not use this consent for marketing messages.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
